Committed to the Community
Marsh & McLennan Agency formerly Benefits Resource Group’s community involvement extends beyond sponsoring events or writing checks. We care deeply about the community that has supported our business for more than three decades. We’re a hands-on team—we live, work, play and give back generously to our community through service, volunteerism and leadership investments.
Among the organizations we support, Marsh & McLennan Agency formerly Benefits Resource Group is a Gold sponsor of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Greater Cleveland fundraisers, including their annual October 5K. The organization is near and dear to us. Our team appreciates the time spent with youth in the organization.
We support organizations that our people are passionate about, including: Boy Scouts of America; Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) Research Foundation, which raises awareness for a rare form of abdominal cancer through the Cleveland Summer Scurry; Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland; and Relay for Life, where we volunteered and raised more than $22,000 in pledge dollars. Additionally, we have professional and personal relationships with Karen Nakon Foundation (WHP), Boy Scouts, Benedictine High School, Cornerstone of Hope, Stewarts Caring Place, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, and each holiday season, we adopt a family in need and fulfill their wishes.
Charles J. Farro is deeply involved with Flashes of Hope, a nonprofit organization driven to raise funds to accelerate a cure for children’s cancer while honoring the unique life and memories of every child fighting cancer. Charles serves a member of the organization’s board.
At Marsh & McLennan Agency formerly Benefits Resource Group, we truly see the community as our extended family, and we are humbled to give our time and talent to organizations that need our help.
